This piece really shows the gradient in this new gradient damascus. You can see the shift before dark and light right through the middle of the blade. Can look more like a smearing, but nicely shows the new way of making this steel. I went with a lighter detent on this piece to test out. Still nice and crisp but less aggressive overall
Steel: Gradient go-mai Damascus with a 1084 core from Baker Forge and Tool. Blade and backspacer.
Overall length: Approx 7in
Overall length closed: Approx 4.1in
Cutting edge: 3in
Handle: Snow Fire carbon fiber from Fatcarbon
Deployment: Thumb-stud primary/Front flipper
Hardware: Titanium screws, liners and pocket clip. Pocket clip and liners are hand textured and anodized black
