New model came to life in a big way. The showstopper is certainly the white timascus showside with the mother of pearl inlay pivot.
Nice firm detent for a confident deployment. Action feels very smooth while running on ceramic bearings. Overall, my most high-end piece to date. Mirror polished everything makes for getting pictures difficult, but you will not be disappointed.

When I started making folders this is exactly what I wanted. Aggressive dark look that can still be functional. There have been a lot of failures and attempts to get this model right, but I’m finally there.
The closed profile looks just as good as it does open. The action is snappy, but not painful to deploy.
*This steel is gorgeous, but this much copper does allow for the copper to be in the detent track. The blade still closes smoothly, but you can certainly feel it rolling over the copper since that copper is softer. This is the only downside I have for this piece.
I have a full video on my Instagram page showing the action and a full view of the piece.
